"N Korea crisis in line with US neocon interests"

BINTANGNEWS.com – The British and the US neocons view the North Korea crisis as a way of justifying the economic and military encirclement of China for which
reason they do not genuinely seek a solution to the issue, a political analyst says.
The current risk of the outbreak of a nuclear war over North Korea stems from the US previous acts of sabotage during the Bush and Obama administrations, Mike Billington, an editor with the Executive Intelligence Review, told Press TV in an interview on Tuesday.
Billington noted that Moscow and Beijing are not in favor of a North Korea in possession of nuclear arms that could set off a regional nuclear arms race.
Russia and China have called for deescalation over the latest nuclear test by North Korea during an emergency UN Security Council meeting.
He further reiterated that as long as Washington is threatening Pyongyang with war and regime change, the Asian country has the right to stand its ground and not give up its nuclear weapons “having in mind what happened to Iraq and Libya.”
The commentator also pointed out that the new sanctions on North Korea are actually targeted against Russia and China as “the US considers any country doing business with North Korea an enemy,” calling the approach “criminal and against international and US law.”
North Korea says it will not give up on its nuclear deterrence unless Washington ends its hostile policy toward the country and dissolves the US-led UN command in South Korea.***
